I’m Alycia (uh-lish-uh) Earhart and I am the one-woman show behind everything you see here!

I love color, patterns, imperfect shapes, and organic textures, and I celebrate these loves through jewelry making, illustrations, and painting. My number one goal is to make things that make me happy and hope they make others happy, too.

So how did this all start?

In 2014 I launched my jewelry brand Oxbow Studio. I loved the idea of creating pieces that made the wearer feel empowered and beautiful. I spent many years honing my craft and growing my business, then one day I started to crave something different. I still loved jewelry, but my creative mind needed something that allowed for more freedom and spontaneity.

So in 2019 I set down my hammer and picked up a paintbrush and taught myself how to paint. It wasn’t until after the birth of my first child at the end of 2020 did I start to really lean into it. As soon as my daughter was born, her nap time was my only studio time, so I opted for something a little quieter than the loud workings of metalsmithing and launched my first cohesive collection of acrylic works.

I was hooked.

Over the last few years I have started to integrate jewelry making and painting/illustrations and allowing each media to influence one another. My jewelry has become more organic and folksy in form, while some of my paintings have become more rigid and planned.
